Since 1999

Velokurjers is a company based in Latvia. In English, Velokurjers translates to Bicycle Courier.

Back in the 1999, Velokurjers began as a bicycle messenger service. At first, we delivered packages for people from point A to point B — using only bicycles. In 2005, we expanded our services to include cars. Since then, Velokurjers has continued to grow as a trusted courier company in Europe. There are many bicycle couriers in Riga, as well as car couriers delivering packages across Europe every day.

In 2010, we entered the field of bicycle tourism, becoming the official representative of www.bicycle.lv (the Latvian Bicycle Information Center). We provide people with information about the most popular cycling routes in Latvia and organize guided tours. Today, we have around 30 e-bikes in our warehouse, which we use for group rides along Latvia’s most scenic and popular routes — turning cycling into an exciting shared event.

Over the last five years, we have also expanded into sales b2b.velokurjers.lv. This has taken us around the world, where we’ve built friendships and partnerships across many countries. Our goal isn’t just profit — we keep our margins small to focus on creating new friendships, collaborations, and bringing high-quality products to people everywhere.
